iPad Apps For School

This site is set up to give a brief overview of educational apps. There is an alphabetical list of apps on the right side of the page. Use the labels on the right side of the page to filter for specific types of apps. The "EWSHS Availability" section of each post is a resource specifically for the teachers at my high school. Show Me

Show Me is a white board app that allows you to create short video lessons. Pictures from your iPads photo album or from the internet can be imported to be used in the videos. The app will record your voice as you explain about or write on the screen. You can pause your recording and change backgrounds. Saved videos can be made public or shared with specific people.

One great feature of this app is the ability to explore videos other people have shared. Videos are categorized by topic. You can "follow" people to see all of their videos or "like" videos to make them easier to find.
