iPad Apps For School

This site is set up to give a brief overview of educational apps. There is an alphabetical list of apps on the right side of the page. Use the labels on the right side of the page to filter for specific types of apps. The "EWSHS Availability" section of each post is a resource specifically for the teachers at my high school. Cloud On

CloudOn allows you to create and edit Microsoft Office files on the iPad. You can create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files using this app. In order to save files, or edit existing files, you will need to have a DropBox or Google Drive account (Note that all WCPSS employees have a Google Drive account). The editing features are similar to those provided by Microsoft Office on a computer. Some features, such as inserting graphs into spreadsheets, are not supported by the free version of the app.
