iPad Apps For School

This site is set up to give a brief overview of educational apps. There is an alphabetical list of apps on the right side of the page. Use the labels on the right side of the page to filter for specific types of apps. The "EWSHS Availability" section of each post is a resource specifically for the teachers at my high school. Screen Chomp

Screen Chomp is a whiteboard app that allows you to create video lessons. Images from the iPad camera as well as documents saved in Drop Box can be imported into the app. The app will record your screen as you comment on and draw on the image or document. Once you start recording with an image in the background, you cannot change the image. Completed videos are saved to your Screen Chomp account and can be shared.
