iPad Apps For School

This site is set up to give a brief overview of educational apps. There is an alphabetical list of apps on the right side of the page. Use the labels on the right side of the page to filter for specific types of apps. The "EWSHS Availability" section of each post is a resource specifically for the teachers at my high school. iTunes U

iTunes U gives you and your students access to course related subject matter from around the world. Scrolling through the iTunes U catalog looks very much like using the iTunes App Store, but the content is all related to specific subjects. The content is often linked to specific colleges but much of the material is available for free. The content includes video lectures, readings, full courses with assignments, and interactive material. If you see something you like, click "subscribe" and it will appear in your library for you to use.
