iPad Apps For School

This site is set up to give a brief overview of educational apps. There is an alphabetical list of apps on the right side of the page. Use the labels on the right side of the page to filter for specific types of apps. The "EWSHS Availability" section of each post is a resource specifically for the teachers at my high school. Word Ref

Word Ref is a translator app. It includes Spanish, French, Italian, Arabic, and several other languages. Once you have selected a language, a word can be typed in English or in the chosen language. The translation of the word will be given along with the definition in both languages. The app will also allow you to listen to the word being spoken.
