Nearpod

Nearpod allows you to set up interactive presentations for your students. Teachers will need to set up a free Nearpod account and create the presentations from a web browser. Presentations previously created in PowerPoint can be saved as a PDF file and uploaded to Nearpod. Students view the presentation on individual devices (can be android, iPad, or PC). Interactive features such as surveys and quizzes can be inserted into the presentation. Teachers control the pace of the presentation and can monitor the number of students participating on their individual devices. A drawing feature allows students to draw in their answers and teachers have the option of sharing their answers with the rest of the class (the students name is not included). A report of any answers submitted is emailed to the teacher after the presentation.

The Nearpod store has presentations about many subjects available to download and edit. There are a variety of free and paid presentations.

The free version of the app allows teachers to have up to 30 students at a time participate in a presentation. There are paid versions of the app that allow more students and also have a homework feature. Here is a blog post of mine about Nearpod.
